Glenallachie Distillery was established in 1967 with two stills which later increased to four in order to meet an ever increasing demand for Glenallachie malt whisky. Glenallachie Distillery is a Scottish Speyside distillery sitting on the eastern edge of Ben Rinnes mountain where it is rather exposed to the elements and is often to be see sitting within the snowline. A modern building and yet its architect William Delm-Evans created a distillery which is rather pleasing on the eye.
